MACV-SOG Major John L. Plaster

I have two books from Plaster in my Library that are dog eared, highlighted and just about worn out.

The first is The Ultimate Sniper which I got many moons ago as a gift from a now departed friend (who was a better shot than me by a country mile) and Secret Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines with the Elite Warriors of SOG which I refer to regularly when studying and/or writing about Guerilla Warfare tactics.

Anytime any of these SOG guys that are still around (Plaster, Meyer, Thompson) do an article or podcast, I listen up and take notes. These guys are consummate, professional warriors who were put into the most difficult situations you can imagine where they had to write the playbook as they went to survive the Day!
