John le Carré, author of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, dies aged 89
One of the greatest Cold War Espionage writers of our time has left us.
Nobody could touch this man in terms of style and originality.
He practically invented the Cold War Spy Novel in part because he actually served in the British Foreign Service Post WW2.
In Tribute I am going to watch three Film Adaptations that I think do his novel’s justice. Please join me in remembering a true Literary Titan.
The Spy Who Came in from the Cold (1965)
Tinker, Tailor, Soldier Spy (2011)
