In Anne Applebaum’s Pulitzer Prize winning book Gulag she describes Lenin’s early mindset and plan regarding how criminals would be punished in the newly birthed Soviet Union. Lenin believed that the TRUE criminal was not the thief or the murderer, whom he believed could be potential allies with the State since the CAUSE of the criminal’s condition could be traced back to the “exploitation of the masses” by capitalist excess. Lenin reasoned that if you removed the CAUSE then that would lead to the withering away of the excess and therefore no special punishment would be needed to deter criminals as the Revolution would eventually do away with them by natural process. If one looks closely at this doctrine you can see where the progressive leftist legal dogma of no Individual guilt or personal responsibility in ethical or societal matters comes from.
Lenin also reasoned that the true enemy, the “Enemy of the State” was the so-called bourgeois enemy or as he called it the “Class Enemy.” In short the class enemy openly or covertly opposed the Communist Revolution and all of it’s beliefs. The class enemy was harder to identify than the traditional criminal and therefore harder to reform. Unlike the traditional criminal the class enemy could never be trusted to cooperate with the Soviet regime and required much harder punishment. Thus in 1918 the first Bolshevik “decree of bribery” was passed that stated in short that if a person that was of the “propertied classes” was found guilty of offering or taking bribes to preserve or acquire privileges linked to PROPERTY RIGHTS then they should be sentenced to the harshest, most unpleasant forced labor and all of their property seized by the State.
So we see that from the very early days of the Soviet State the ideal that people were to be sentenced not for WHAT THEY HAD DONE but for WHO THEY WERE was an integral, fundamental part of the Communist ideology.
Fast forward to 2020 and again we see Communist ideology rearing it’s ugly, deformed head. In one of her many hair brained full-retard tweets, Communist, (excuse me Democratic Socialist) Congress woman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her pathetic ilk of followers to include the incestuous jihadist traitor Ilhan Omar stated that they were creating the “Trump Accountability Project” which would seek to economically punish ALL people who supported President Trump either by working on his campaign, serving in his administration or supporting him financially in any way. So in other words, ANY AND ALL Trump supporters were to be put on a list and financially penalized.
King Solomon, the wisest man in the world stated in Ecclesiastes 1:9 that
What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.
Communist ideology has been around for over 100 years folks. It is not hard to spot. It is not hard to decipher.
The hard part is standing up to the rising of the tide.
The growing cancer of modern Communism that now cloaks itself in Political Correctness and Cultural Marxist buzz words like multi-culturalism, diversity, anti-racism and inclusivity.
The end result of NOT standing up to this communist ilk and their big tech cronies in the Silicon Valley Marxist Club who want to censor and make “list” and penalize (and by consequence, CRIMINALIZE) Americans for their political beliefs is nothing short of a Totalitarian state. Where the “class enemy” is now anybody who speaks out against an illegitimate “President elect” and his criminal regime or maybe the person who waves Old Glory down at the court house or recites the Pledge of Allegiance before school or exercises their second amendment rights by defending their family from government tyranny.
The punishment for these Class Enemies will at the beginning perhaps be be a corrupt IRS audit, or maybe a Red Flag Warrant where a citizens constitutional second amendment rights are trampled. But in time as the illegal, corrupt regime grows uncontested, the people on these list, just like in 1918 Russia will start disappearing into Gulag’s never to be seen or heard from again.
