To me it all goes back to not what Trump has SAID regarding Gun Laws and Ban’s but what he has DONE since he has been in office. Let’s face it. His record is dismal when it comes to caving to Political Pressure from the Lib-Clowns. First there was the Bump Stock Ban, then the Proposed Suppressor Ban (which is still on the table btw) and now we have Universal Background Checks, Marxist Red Flag Laws and the coup de grace, an Assault Weapons Ban?
The problem I have always had with Trump from Day one is he approaches everything from the perspective of COMPROMISE and not CONSTITUTIONAL CERTAINTY.
I Understand how Politics work, and sometimes the “Potomac Two-Step” has to be danced to pacify people…but I also understand that when you are a Populist President like Trump is and you Piss Off the BIGGEST Base of Voters that put you there (2A) you become a one term President.
Newsflash Donald: Every political problem you encounter is not a chance for you to show off your “Art of the Deal” Prowess. Sometimes you just have to look at DOING YOUR JOB as upholding the Constitution and Protecting the Citizenry against Tyranny, as in “All Enemies Foreign and Domestic?”
