Something Everybody Can Do To Make Schools Safer

I remember an old grunt used to always tell me to “Always think PRACTICAL before you start thinking TACTICAL.”

This is one of those times!

Urge your Local Fire Department to donate their old or damaged fire hoses to the local Schools for Door Locks! It’s a no brainer and a win/win for everybody involved.

The School Superintendent cannot say anything about it not being in the yearly budget because it is free and making a class room door SECURE is one of the most practical things you can do in making a school safer from an active shooter event.

Take a look at past school shootings and the difference a locked/barricaded door made in the survival ratio.
