I first heard about Leon Cooper when a good friend of mine who does work for the American Legion told me to watch a documentary on Netflix called Return to the Philippines: The Leon Cooper Story. After watching it, I immediately did a blog post on it, you can read that HERE.
Leon Cooper is still going strong in his mission to repatriate WW2 soldiers listed as MIA who are still lying in unmarked graves in the Pacific Theater. Leon has his own WordPress Blog, and Facebook Page so be sure to visit, Like, Follow, Tweet, Re-Blog, Email and Smoke Signal Him!
Also Please Support worthwhile charities like the National League of POW/MIA Families to repatriate all those gallant soldiers listed as MIA and who lie in unmarked graves who fought in EVERY AMERICAN FOREIGN WAR. LET’S BRING THEM HOME WHERE THEY BELONG! LEAVE NO MAN BEHIND!
As I have said before, when I look at what Leon is doing, it both MOVES my heart and CHALLENGES me all at the same time. Here we have a 90+ year old WW2 Veteran taking the bull by the horns and accomplishing more than a team of men half his age could do! If that is not inspiring, I don’t know what is my friends!
Thanks Leon! I for one am Grateful we still have REAL MEN in this country like you.
You epitomize the words HONOR, LOYALTY and COMMITMENT.
LEAVE NO MAN BEHIND!!
Stay Alert, Stay Armed and Stay Dangerous!
Thanks for reminding me of this gentleman.
It is a great story! and a worthy cause.
