NBC makes a point of identifying killer of Robert Kennedy as “Christian”

Sirhan Sirhan is indeed, or [was], a Christian, but contrast this prominent identification of him as a “Christian-born Palestinian” with the mainstream media’s reticence about identifying jihad killers as Muslim. Sirhan didn’t murder RFK because Christianity teaches “Slay the Kennedys wherever you find them”; he killed him because he, like many Arab Christians, had imbibed the Islamic jihadist perspective regarding Israel.

Contrast this story with this one, also from NBC, about the San Bernardino jihad killers Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik, who explicitly and avowedly murdered people in the name of Islam and in accord with its teachings. It says in the headline that they “may have been radicalized,” but doesn’t say what they were radicalized into. We hear that the authorities were searching for a motive — implying that it wasn’t actually a jihad attack — and then, eight paragraphs into the piece, we learn that Farook “had been in touch with people in the Los Angeles area who have expressed jihadi-oriented views.” In the 21st paragraph we learn that Farook regularly attended a mosque, and in the 25th paragraph, the word “Muslim” appears for the first time.

The mainstream media is always searching for people it can dub “Christian terrorists,” so as to support the dominant dogma that all religions teach love and peace and all are equally susceptible to being “hijacked.” And so Sirhan is readily identified as a Christian while every effort is made to obfuscate the Islamic identity and motive of jihadis.

Robert F. Kennedy’s assassin will seek parole for the 14th time Wednesday morning — almost 48 years after he shot and killed the Democratic senator for New York.

Kennedy was shot on June 5, 1968, at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles just after he’d won the state’s Democratic presidential primary. The younger brother of President John F. Kennedy died the next day.

Sirhan B. Sirhan, a Christian-born Palestinian from Jordan who opposed Kennedy’s support for Israel, was wrestled to the ground with a gun in his hand and later convicted of the killing. He was sentenced to death, but the sentence was commuted to life in prison after California banned the death penalty….
