I cannot say enough good things about these multi-purpose “lighting” devices. They are handy, light, compact and BRIGHT! The biggest advantage to them IMO is they use standard AAA alkaline batteries…no lithium or other expensive batteries to have to stock up! The multi-purpose use is another really great factor. Take it on a camping trip and you got a tent lantern and flashlight in one unit. Use it during a blackout and you can light up a room with it or use it to go to the bathroom or kitchen; multi-purpose equals flexibility and simplicity when it comes to prepping; two words that are synonymous with good preparedness skills! This unit also has a really unique feature: the SOS Blinking mode. Great to use during those night time dog walks or exercise sessions, also if you are camping and hiking you have a way to get seen and attract attention if you become lost or in need of aid. Pick up a few today!

GDC

 Gerber GDC Zip Blade.

This thing solves the “post 9/11” era problem of needing a knife for simple chores at work or during travel but not being able to carry a full sized pocket knife due to security restrictions. It has a folding .68 of an inch blade and can attach to just about anything with it’s quick release buckle. They are priced so that you can have more than one also. I attached one to my laptop bag and one on my go-bag because let’s face it, Fire, cutting and cordage are the 3 things you are most likely going to need in a SHTF scenario and this piece of kit solves one of those needs very compactly and efficiently!

Type III Anodized Peanut Lighter XL

It goes without saying I am a HUGE fan of this little piece of kit. I have used them in the field extensively over the years and Know that they work. I have reviewed different variations of the Peanut Lighter before on this blog, namely the Split Pea and Standard, but I wanted to show off the Anodized version simply because I think it looks uber-cool! It has everything you have come to expect in the Peanut Lighter line, compact, sturdy and most importantly, DEPENDABLE. I don’t mind telling you that back in the day, I used to put a Peanut Lighter on a piece of OD Para-Cord and hang it around my neck (along with a few other EDC items). Spend one night outside without a fire in the Pacific Northwest or in Eastern Europe in the Fall and you will quickly understand why I did that! Anyways, these things are a necessity for the PREPPER. Fill it up with butane fuel, micro-stash the 2 spare flints they sent you in one of the PICO pulls and bam, You are set. Get fired up today and order a few!

1 Liter Flat Pack Canteen and Maratac Canteen Cover

When I saw Mike was carrying these, I knew I had to show you guys. These are undoubtedly the best Canteens on the Market, hands down. Why? Because they can carry an entire LITER of water. Why is that important? A standard military canteen can only carry a QUART, while if you want to haul a Camelbak, their bladders can carry from 2 to 3 LITERS. This piece of kit IMO is the perfect balance between the two. The Maratac cover/case is excellent also. It has a sturdy shoulder strap, a drain hole plus an auxiliary pocket on the front to stash small items. You can also carry 3 standard water bottles in it if you are so inclined, or a first aid kit or whatever you can fit in it! This is a no-brainer piece of gear folks; WATER=LIFE, right? Yeah you got a Camelbak, but what about those trips where you don’t want to haul a backpack around? Always have the gear to fit the mission requirements or else you end up carrying a piece of kit that does not belong because you have no other choice. Always Remember The Survival Rule of 3: You can go 3 minutes without air, 3 Hours without shelter 3 Weeks without Food but only 3 days without Water. 72 hours is not a long time, NEVER take that chance folks. Get your 1L canteen package today!

Delrin Micro-Stash Pico Pulls

Now I know what you are thinking. What in the Heck can I do with these things? Well, I thought the same thing, until Mike and the group of wizards he keeps in the back room at County-Comm showed me. Some of the more practical uses are: Zipper pulls, Pill Storage, Pet ID and Emergency Cash Stash. If you are into Geo-Caching, these things would be excellent too. Anyways, I use them as a zipper pull that doubles as a storage container for my spare flints for my Peanut Lighter on my all weather jacket…I am sure you can find a use for yours too!!

Embassy Pen (Rev 2)

OK, those of us that travel quite a bit know the benefit of having a good “multi-purpose” pen on our person at all times. Sometimes called “tactical pens”, depending on the end user, these can be used for more than just signing a credit card receipt if need be. The Embassy Pen (Rev 2) is built like a tank, with a screw cap, military style stainless steel clip and a T6061 Type 3 Anodized aluminum body with a knurled grip design to ensure it stays in your hand, whether you are writing your dissertation or using it as a kubotan to defend yourself against a would be “bad guy”. It uses a Medium SPR4 Fisher Space Pen Refill and measures out at 5.25″ long. These pens are unique as they are functional. County-Comm exclusively offers these only for a LIMITED TIME, So hurry and order your Embassy Pen today; you will have a unique, tough and functional piece of kit that will go with you everywhere and be ready for action, whatever that may be.

Mighty Multi-Bit Driver

Micro tools to me are one of the smartest and handiest things a prepper can have. One, their size enables you to carry a virtual tool box in a small bag. Two, their price enables you to have more than one so you can keep your go-bag stocked and have one for your workbench as well. The Mighty Multi-Bit Driver is basically Six screwdrivers in one. No more looking for the right tool, simply switch the bit and you are in business and the bright Orange color ensures you can find it easy and the storage for the bits ensures you won’t lose them. As an added bonus, this little doozie is made in Canada and not in Taiwan, so you WILL NOT FIND any”cheap” foreign made crap here!  This is definitely a must have for any prepper handyman, get one for your Go-Bag and workbench today!

So There it is folks, The County-Comm Prepper Bundle #1.

Guys, we live in uncertain times, and if there is one thing I can tell you it is that Prepping is NOT about FEAR and UNCERTAINTY, it is about Practical, Common Sense Things you can do to help yourself stay ahead of the curve. Please don’t wait to get the gear you need. Seriously, Mike and the good folks at County-Comm have priced their kit very modestly without sacrificing quality, so no more hesitation! Time to Act Today!

Stay Alert, Stay Armed, Get your Prepping On and Stay Dangerous!
