When it comes to reading, I always strive to follow my late Grandmothers advice when at 9 years old, I asked her how she got so smart..she simply replied: Always be Reading Something!

Wholeheartedly agree with your recommendation of “Left of Bang.” It’s definitely made people watching more interesting whenever there isn’t a colorful character nearby to steal my focus. It’s tough however to implement the book’s authors’ recommendations on improving situational awareness often enough to feel I have improved any.

Thanks for reading the blog! I really enjoy yours too!
Yeah, sometimes it can feel you are not doing “enough” as far as situational awareness, but the truth is, we live in a society where we have to be rather close to people to do our business…would I rather make every person I meet keep a minimum 21 foot distance and keep their hands visible at all times?? Absolutely! Truth is, its just not realistic, but the good news is, being that are even being AWARE of being AWARE proves you are ahead of the curve of 95% of the clueless society that we live in! Next time you are out in public, keep a mental tally of how many people have their head buried in an I-Pad or are on a cell phone, oblivious to the world and threats around them..you will see what I mean real quick. Stay Dangerous!
