Time to Activate Your Gray Man

Beware!

Crescendo!

As JRB’s embarrassing departure from the presidential race seems increasingly imminent (despite his repeated insistence that he’ll continue his campaign, at least until yesterday) and the DNC Convention in Chicago (scheduled for next month) promising to be war-ridden, both inside and out, and with each passing day, getting a Democrat’s name on the presidential ballot (other than JRB’s) in many states becoming close to impossible, panic is setting-in!

Democrats at the highest level morbidly fear catastrophic losses in both houses of Congress come November, not to mention the Presidency (which they’ve pretty-much already written-off).

In their panic, we’ll be hearing from the mouths of Democrat politicians, as well as leftists in the media and in Hollywood, overt calls for political violence, directed at all who can be identified as “political adversaries!”

To Marxists, seizing and consolidating political power (by any means) for themselves represents their only real priority, and that has ever been the case since Karl Marx first spouted his anti-freedom rhetoric in the late 1800s.

To Marxists, violence is thus an ethical political tool they can, and should (and have) legitimately use in order to hang-onto power when they cannot retain it any other way.

This is frightening!

Between now and November, I believe we’ll hear Democrat politicians subtly (maybe not so subtly) hinting that violent, indeed lethal, attacks upon political antagonists are “approved,” and many among the volatile and unstable will take that literally!

There is little any of us can do to influence events at the national level, but we can take precautions at the personal level designed to keep us from harm.

1) All political activity is dangerous and exposes one to precipitous political violence!

Understand that overtly working on behalf of a particular candidate, on any level, carries with it significant personal risk.  I know many will step-up to the plate anyway, regardless of risk, and bless them for it.  But, there are still many among the naive who believe political activity in this country is risk-free.

It has never been risk-free, but it is far more dangerous this season than ever before, at least in my lifetime.

2) Political gatherings/meetings/rallies are particularly dangerous!

Attending political rallies, in person, is something I especially do not recommend.  My advice is to find other ways to manifest your support.

3) A low personal, political profile will prevent unwanted confrontations.

Political bumper-stickers, baseball caps, T-shirts, lawn-signs, banners, etc I concede are all a traditional part of our “election seasons,” but this election year I recommend against all of it!

Being visually identifiable as an advocate for a particular political candidate/party/issue is not in your best interests, in my opinion.  Such “flags” will attract unsavory, maybe violent, personal contacts.  Again, my advice is to find other (less denotative) ways to show your support.

4) Our metro areas can look forward to violent, destructive rioting (even more-so than “normal”).

Don’t get inadvertently caught in the middle of one.

Pay attention to what is going on in the places where you find yourself.  Always have an emergency-exit plan!

Our nation, and the world in general, are anything but “stable” right now.

Operators never hesitate make appropriate and timely adjustments to personal plans, profile, lifestyle, as necessitated by circumstances.

Loudly the bell in the old tower rings
Biding us list to the warning it brings.

Sailor take care!
Sailor take care!
Danger is near thee, beware! Beware!

Many brave hearts are asleep in the deep so beware!

Beware!

(From “Asleep in the Deep,” written in 1897 by Arthur Lamb, and put to music by Henry Petrie).
