Vehicle Preparedness is one of the most important areas of Preparation. Why?
Well, besides our home, our vehicle is where we spend a good majority of our time (typically commuting to a job so we can pay for the home!) so it makes sense if something were to go sideways, it would happen out on the road.
Now besides having all the standard kit such as a VBOB (to include a well stocked trauma kit) some practical repair tools, a firearm or two and a cell phone what else should I have?
Well within the “Practical Tools” tab you should definitely include a Portable Power Station/Jump Starter.
Why? Well If you apply the famous saying “Nobody is Coming to Save You” to also mean:
“Nobody is going to be there to give you a Jump Start at 3 a.m. in Bumfrick Egypt!”
Now depending on your budget you can also get units that are also Air Compressors (Like the DeWalt Unit Shown above)
