I look at this picture and I think back to how proud we were to be there for America. We did it because we believed in our country and we believed the country believed in us. Despite all the sacrifices that were made, those seemed to be better times for the America that I know.
It makes me sad how those times have changed. I still believe that better times are ahead.
There are still a great amount of good men and women that are our countrymen, we just don’t see them yet.
