Besides The Battle of Algiers, another excellent movie about Asymmetrical/Guerilla Warfare is The Wind that Shakes the Barley.
Set in Ireland in 1920, it chronicles the life for a group of young IRA members as they fight to regain their homeland from the Black and Tan’s.
As with the Battle of Algiers, pay attention to the basics presented such as Small cells with tight membership controls, limited comms and incessant training.
