Self-Defense in Texas: .22LR Single Shot Trumps AR-15 and.40 Cal Pistol?

Although this self-defense story violates two primary rules of Self-Defense, namely that Alcohol and Firearms is a deadly mix and always AVOID obvious People or Places that could cause you trouble, it does demonstrate three practical facts about Self-Defense shootings:

It is better to be ARMED with something versus NOTHING
COVER is King in a gunfight
Aiming for the Center of Mass is always the best bet, regardless of caliber
