In Reynosa (across the border from Hidalgo/Mcallen Texas) Mexican Police battled three carloads of Cartel gunman.

The violence took place this week when a convoy of Tamaulipas state police officers with the Fuerza Tamaulipas task force were traveling towards the downtown area of this city after answering a call for help, information provided to Breitbart Texas by the Tamaulipas government revealed.

As the convoy was moving, a vehicle with various gunmen pulled alongside.

That is when the cartel gunmen began to throw various road spikes at the police officers.

The police officers began chasing the gunmen resulting in a larger rolling shootout as two more SUV’s with gunmen joined in. The gunmen in the SUV’s immediately began to fire at authorities who began to fight off the attack as the chase ensued.

Amid the firefight, one of the SUV’s lost control and ended up rolling over on the city’s south side. Two gunmen ended up getting crushed to death under the vehicle.

Felony Criminal Court Judge Julie Kocurek from Travis County, Texas was shot outside her home last night.

At about 10:16 p.m., a call was made to 9-1-1 that there had been a shooting at her home. EMS arrived and the judge was transported to University Medical Center-Brackenbridge in Austin. Her injuries are reported to be extremely serious but not life-threatening.

A neighbor of the judge told the Austin American-Statesman that she “just heard four pops.”

The Austin newspaper also reported that the judge had just returned to her home after being out and others were with her when she was shot.

Officer Mark Spangler, the head of the Austin Police Department robbery-homicide division said his division and the patrol division is investigating. He said they do not have a lot of information about the shooter, or persons responsible for the shootings. He said the crime was committed in the darkness.

The state of high alert following the reported El Chapo sighting calls for a a large number of Argentian federal police officers to roam the mountain passes near an area known as Bariloche while their counterparts in Chile carry out a similar operation, El Clarinnewspaper reported citing information form that country’s National Gendarmerie.

The mountain area between Argentina and Chile is filled with canyons and harsh terrain that make it ideal for someone trying to sneak in without being noticed.

Guzman Loera became a worldwide phenomenon over the summer when, as reported byBreitbart Texas, he carried out a brazen escape from one of Mexico’s maximum security prisons by using a motorcycle to drive through a mile long tunnel. The escape was further aided by guards who had been playing video games instead of checking the video feeds of the cell.

The flawless escape was seen as a slap in the face of Mexican authorities since it is the second time that Guzman Loera has been able to escape from one of the most secure prisons in that country.

Just last month, authorities came close to catching him after the capo sent his henchmen to bring him a pet monkey Breitbart Texas reported. The monkey named “Boots” is the favorite pet of his young daughters who according to Mexican news outlets had begged the drug lord to bring.

After tracking Guzman to his hideout the capo was barely able to escape and is believed to have been injured while fleeing.

Guzman Loera is the current leader of the Sinaloa Federation, the most powerful cartel in Mexico. According to a recent DEA report about the heroin epidemic in the America, Guzman and his cartel are responsible for most of the heroin supply in this country.
