A Massive Mexican meth ring has been busted in Oregon that has roots in the Mexican state of Michoacan then through Texas, on to California and then Oregon. Bretibart Texas obtained court documents that list 24 defendants have been charged, almost all of them illegal aliens. The documents show collaboration between major Drug Cartels and local and international U.S. Gangs. The documents also allude that the Cartels are manufacturing the Meth on U.S. soil now and not just importing it.

The court documents provide details as to which individuals were allegedly operating with the cartels and getting the meth into the U.S. and which individuals were considered the local dealers by authorities. This reporter wrote in 2013 about an unprecedented Mexican cartel presence in Oregon, in addition to Washington state. From previous research, the cartels appear to use the Pacific Northwest as a staging ground to supply meth to U.S. oilfield workers in the Bakken region of the U.S. Dakotas.

As the oil began to flow in the uppermost regions of the U.S., indictments involving Mexican nationals and meth operations began to surface. In most cases, a Mexican national was sent from Mexico to the U.S. to lead a narco-ring which consisted of hired U.S. citizens. Though these cases clearly involve a Mexican cartel, the assertion couldn’t be proven with the available information.

In this instance, the press release from the U.S. Attorney’s office contained no hint that the operation was a cartel enterprise. The indictment was helpful, but the government’s effort to deny bail to the defendants contained proof of cartel involvement. The motion for pretrial detention specifically names the Knights Templar cartel and the Sinaloa Federation (cartel).

In Matamoros a top commander with feared Los Zetas Cartel who may have been trying to sneak into Texas was caught.

Known as Jonathan Abbid “El Jonas” Espinoza Ayala, the man is suspected of being the second in command for Los Zetas in Ciudad Victoria, the capital of Tamaulipas. According to information provided by the Tamaulipas government to Breitbart Texas, the arrest took place on Tuesday and that night authorities had him at Mexico’s Attorney General’s Office providing his statements.

The arrest of the Los Zetas commander took place when Mexican Federal police officers were patrolling the areas around one of the international bridges that connects this city with Brownsville, Texas.

A man walking around the area spotted the police vehicles and tried to run away and police officers went after him. Upon seeing the cops coming chasing him the man stopped and went towards them asking for help and claiming his life was in danger. Police officers got the man into a patrol car and when they searched his name they identified him as a leading Zeta boss.
