I have been getting emails lately requesting I list what books I have in my Library. It is no secret I am a huge book worm, so I felt obliged to share some titles with you based on subject. Today we will focus on one of my favorite subjects: Espionage and Intelligence, next month maybe World War Two?
I also will tell you in advance, that some of these titles cross-reference into another subject, for example, Ghost Wars by Steve Coll is not only a Great History of the CIA in Afghanistan in the early years, but also a great book for studying AQ, Terrorism and 9/11. All The Shah’s Men by Steven Kinzer is again, a Great History of the infancy of the CIA in the 50’s but also a wonderful resource in understanding how our Foreign Policy regarding Iran has been molded over the years.
So, in no particular Order, Here they are:
- The Craft of Intelligence by Allen Dulles
 - The Art of Intelligence by Henry Crumpton
 - Legacy of Ashes by Tim Weiner
 - The Very Best Men by Evan Thomas
 - All the Shah’s Men by Stephen Kinzer
