Vengeance, not Rememberance

Posted on 20 July 2015 by The Tactical Hermit

When you read this letter, reflect on the recent tragedy where 4 Marines and a Navy Sailor were murdered by a terrorist. With the current attitude in this country being primarily “remembrance of our heroes” is that what these warriors would really want? Is that the best way to honor their warrior legacy and ethos, to put up memorials?

No, I think the best way to honor these WARRIORS memory is to seek vengeance on the people who promote this idealogy..after all, isn’t that what they were doing for ALL OF US? Let’s all show some balls (most especially this government and military) and help finish what they were doing.

The following story is based on true accounts. The names have been changed. Any similarities in name is purely coincidence.

A Letter from a Fallen Soldier

(The following “death” letter was given to me by my good friend a fellow platoon brother, Sgt. Logan S. Daniels approximately 6 hours before his death in 2006 on a Classified Operation in the Hindu Kush. Logan was an only child and both his parents had died in an accident when he was young, so he had no other family. He handed me 2  letters that day, one addressed to his girlfriend of 7 years, Brandi and this one, addressed  to me.)

Dear Brent

If you are reading this them I am dead, and no longer around to out shoot you or kick your ass in Madden Football or MW3 on Playstation, damn I am gonna miss that!

I am not good at long letters, so I will make this short and sweet. Those fuckers we are going to fight today. I know for a fact that if we don’t kick their ass here and now, and stop them cold, then this war is gonna get to America and innocent people will die. Do me a favor, and I am serious: don’t waste time mourning me or putting up memorials about “being a hero” and all that shit: Vengeance, not Remembrance  is my request. Please bro..pick up a rifle and go and plant as many of those fuckers that killed me as you can. These jihadist pieces of shit have proven what they are: barbarians and we can’t let this shit get back home man..because if it does, innocent people will die, and that not the way this is supposed to go down bro. The fight is here for a reason…go and do your job.

Anyways, I also wanted to tell you that you can have the three most valuable things I own right now: My Truck, My gun Collection and my Dog…That truck is brand new and paid off so you are one lucky fucker…enjoy it! All I ask on my guns is give Brandi my Sig 229 and teach her to shoot it…I had promised I would teach her when I got back, but that is not gonna happen now. Take care of her bro, this is gonna hit her really hard. My dog, Jake is being taken care of that nice lady that lives across the street from me, be sure to take him for rides and give him bacon on Sundays..he loves that shit.(All his stuff is above the washer and dryer in the utility room).

Anyways, I guess that’s it man…hang in there, look after your squad..they will be depending on you. Also, Remember to hit the rifle range often because you really suck…ha ha (no seriously you do). Make sure they give the flag to Brandi.

Hang Tough, Semper Fi

Reblogged this on Brittius and commented:
“Semper Fi, Brother”, is the only answer to that letter. It was written by a Marine who gave all. Not a piece of garbage that sits in DC.

It is difficult to read their final words; believe me I can relate.
In the even you did not read this on my last post, I am sending this notice in the event it applies to anyone you know —

    Veterans –

I have been informed by Sheri de Grom that veterans who applied for disabilities using the electronic system, especially the promised 100% disability payment for any vet who served in Vietnam and now has diabetes or kidney disease, there are problems. It’s expected to to take a minimum of 3 years to adjudicate each of those claims and the veteran MUST add new information to his/her claim every 6 months to keep the electronic claim active.
