For those of you keeping up with this, it appears all the political haggling and filibusters are over. HB 910 has officially been sent to Governor Abbotts desk for his signature, which will make Open Carry of a handgun Legal in Texas with a Permit.
Meanwhile, here is something that really matters:
Although as an American I am happy about the bill, as a Texan, there is more pressing things I feel deserve ALL of our ATTENTION, including the Governors right now, and that is getting AID to all those Texans effected by the severe storms and flooding that ripped through our state this past week.
In the meantime, let’s not wait for that bloated organism called the Federal Government to act, let’s all take the initiative here in the sovereign State of Texas to pitch in to help where we can!
