You know, I am not the smartest guy in the world, I admit that openly to most people, including my wife about 6 times a week average,  but when you read a statement like the one GW made in the above quote, and then factor in the rampant emotional extortion that has been exerted by the Obama propaganda group lately, like surrounding yourself with children at a dog and pony show press conference and reading their sweet little “Dear Mr. Obama” Letters to try and emotionally persuade the American People and convince them that GUNS are the problem and not the MENTAL HEALTH epidemic in this country, you quickly DEDUCE something foul is in the air in our nations capital and excuse my southern lingo, but it ain’t the septic tank leaking!

I have pointed out to my devoted readers before, how history has shown, when a government system wishes to impose a corrupt agenda that it will, in fact, violate the citizens rights offered to them by the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights, they must first, like any good trial lawyer, DEFILE the reputation of the offender (or persons standing in the way of the agenda), CRIMINALIZE him or her in fact, to the point they are regarded as OUTLAWS; common criminals, who are a danger to society and general security as a whole.

The Media as history has shown us and is continuing to prove currently, is doing it’s fair part in this national character assassination. A recent news skit on the lib-tard comedy show Saturday Night Live, told of the recent planned block by Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant against any proposed Obama backed anti-gun legislation, saying “I am not sure the Mississippi legislature has that kind of power since it is just 30 hissing possums in a barn.”

Obviously guys, the die has been cast, the gauntlet laid down…there is no doubt how Obama and the rest of the liberals in this country view us legal gun owning, gun-toting Americans as a group…in a few words: BACKWARDS, IGNORANT and INSENSITIVE. They view the stands made by courageous men such as Governor Bryant and the Utah Sheriffs Association as a JOKE, a hopeless attempt to block the PROGRESSION of an agenda to make America “safe again” by in a word, “neutering” common citizens by disarming them.

In closing, I am not going to lay down my own verbal barrage against the Socialist, Lib-Tard machine I had so eloquently prepared, instead, I am going to let the words of the man who was honored today by so many Americans, and our very own President at his own Inauguration today, Dr. Martin Luther King, do it for me and in doing so, justify our cause better than I ever could.

Those who study history, might appreciate the irony of this, I know I did. One of Dr. Martin Luther Kings most eloquent speeches the “I Have been to the Mountaintop” was given a day before his death, at the Memphis Sanitation Workers Strike in April, 1968. In it he laid out the Federal Government’s attempts to STOP his march that week with court injunctions and personal threats. Read for yourself the para-phrased excerpt below from what I believe to be one of the most poignant speeches ever wrote about standing up for your RIGHTS against the very government that gave them and is supposed to be protecting them.

 “All we say to America is, “Be true to what you said on paper.” If I lived in China or even Russia, or any totalitarian country, maybe I could understand some of these illegal injunctions. Maybe I could understand the denial of certain basic First Amendment privileges, because they hadn’t committed themselves to that over there. But somewhere I read of the freedom of assembly. Somewhere I read of the freedom of speech. Somewhere I read of the freedom of press. Somewhere I read that the greatness of America is the right to protest for rights. And so just as I said, we aren’t going to let dogs or water hoses turn us around. We aren’t going to let any injunction turn us around. We are going on.”

So, in closing, I say to Mr. Obama just as Dr. King said some 45 years ago, while his life was being threatened and ridiculed; “Be True to what you said on paper.” Honor the Constitution and Bill of Rights, don’t ignore them or try to amend them for your own personal agenda.

And to all the other “Progressives” out there that wish all of us “backward” people with our “legislature of 30 hissing possums” would just go away, we plan on staying right here on the Battlefield until the fight is over and we witness you running at a fast speed in the opposite direction with your tail is tucked between your legs. Our feet will remain firmly planted on our GOD GIVEN Constitutional Rights, our guns loaded and our Blogs ready for more circulation (yeah, some of us “backward” folk are pretty good writers with quite a few readers!!)
