One of the non-negotiables I had with both of my kids early on when they started carrying cell phones at 14 was their phones MUST be equipped with Parental Controls (until they reach 17) and their Location must always be turned ON, so I could track the location in the event something happened.

Thank God nothing ever did, but for this Father in Harris County (Houston), that nightmare became a reality on Christmas Day.

This story is a great example of a Father TAKING ACTION and not waiting on the Police. Because of the Father’s quick and decisive action, his daughter was saved from being raped and most likely murdered.

Parents, Please share this story with your teenager and have an open discussion about abductions and human trafficking. Not just the danger, but what TO DO in the event of an attempted abduction.

Prepare Accordingly.
