Being a history nerd, I am always on the lookout for interesting historical movies or series and the other day I ran across one from Italy titled Exterior Night (aka Esterno Notte) about The 1978 kidnapping and assassination of former Italian Prime Minister Aldo Moro by Red Brigades terrorists.
Now this is not the first movie or series I have mentioned on this blog regarding European Political Terrorism.
Exterior Night is a worthy watch with a very high production value and some great Italian actors. It is a six episode series with each episode coming in at around an hour. But be warned: it is a foreign film and as such is in Italian with English subtitles.
One of the best things about the series is the writers and director made the series so that a person who does not have a clue about the political turmoil in Italy in the seventies and eighties (often call the Years of Lead) can easily follow along.
One of the main reasons I think it is relevant for the martial citizen to study topics like European Political Terrorism is the striking parallel it has with current American politics.
So called “Anti-Fascist” (ie Communist) groups like ANTIFA and BLM have very similar characteristics to violent revolutionary Communist groups like The Red Brigades.
Now even though those similarities at current only parallel their violent and destructive street protest tactics which almost always involve violent mobs attacking law enforcement and looting businesses not related to the protest (aka Target and Foot Locker) the likelihood ANTIFA, BLM and other off-shoot Communist groups will begin to resort to political kidnappings and assassinations are very high in my opinion.
Another facet of Political Terrorism not often discussed is the targeted execution of Law Enforcement officers.
Now even though none of these incidents have been proven to be politically motivated, the number of attacks in the past few years of LEO’s being ambushed and murdered has risen dramatically.
Make no mistake Communist “Revolutionary” violence is on the rise and the majority of the main stream globalist media are in their hip pocket. This is why you see the overt disinformation campaigns that seeks to demonize these fairy-tale “Far-Right” White Supremacist groups as the culprit even though they can offer no hard data to support such claims.
