Hmmm..where have I heard about this before: Marginalizing segments of society because of medical reasons so you can slowly but surely strip them of their rights and be rid of them. Like clockwork, gun control advocates always make a big push for their agenda after every mass shooting. The recent shootings in Charleston and Chattanooga are no different. Due to our government’s failure to keep firearms out of the hands of mass shooters, President Obama has since called for tighter background checks. But this time he wants to utilize the information tied to Social Security beneficiaries.
Basically, those who are incapable of managing their own affairs wouldn’t be allowed to buy a firearm. The new policy would use the same strategy employed by the VA to report certain veterans to the background check system. They take note of anyone who has assigned a fiduciary to manage their pension when they’re not competent enough to do it themselves. The biggest problem with this strategy, is how broad it is. Having memory loss or a brain injury would be enough keep you from buying a gun, even though those conditions are not useful for identifying someone who is crazy or malicious. Imagine if you suffered an injury that prevents you from speaking or writing. It would make sense for you to ask someone else to help you out with your financial affairs, but that might also be enough to prevent you from owning a firearm.
In reality, this is probably just another attempt to find a new pathway for gun control. They’re trying to chip away the rights of a demographic that isn’t as visible to the public, so they can set a precedent for taking away the rights of everyone else later on. This is “slippery slope” 101.

Why do you think ODD was invented and labeled as a “mental illness” in this year’s DSM?
You can count on next year,or the year after there being an “adult” version of ODD included in the DSM.
Note that one of the criteria for labeling people as having ODD is argumentative and defiant behavior.
We’re beginning to see more people who are displaying argumentative and defiant behaviors when they first realize that their government is bending them over and screwing them in the a*s repeatedly.
They will be confirmed as having ODD by a .gov inc. psych “Dr”,and then they have no gun rights-along with all the other rights they lose because they have a “mental illness”.
Here’s the description of ODD…
“The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), published by the American Psychiatric Association, lists criteria for diagnosing ODD. This manual is used by mental health providers to diagnose mental conditions and by insurance companies to reimburse for treatment.
DSM-5 criteria for diagnosis of ODD show a pattern of behavior that:
Includes at least four symptoms from any of these categories — angry and irritable mood; argumentative and defiant behavior; or vindictiveness
Occurs with at least one individual who is not a sibling
Causes significant problems at work, school or home
Occurs on its own, rather than as part of the course of another mental health problem, such as a substance use disorder, depression or bipolar disorder
Lasts at least six months
DSM-5 criteria for diagnosis of ODD include both emotional and behavioral symptoms.
Angry and irritable mood:
Often loses temper
Is often touchy or easily annoyed by others
Is often angry and resentful
Argumentative and defiant behavior:
Often argues with adults or people in authority
Often actively defies or refuses to comply with adults’ requests or rules
Often deliberately annoys people
Often blames others for his or her mistakes or misbehavior
Vindictiveness:
Is often spiteful or vindictive
Has shown spiteful or vindictive behavior at least twice in the past six months”

Peculiar thing is that here in America, background checks and other obstacles are imposed on citizenry, and Obama, gives the mightiest gun, nuclear, to Iran, which can kill tens of thousands with one application, and Obama dis such, willingly.

Yeah it is the same old story: Push the honest people of this country into the criminal category, just makes it easier to demonize our cause and imprison us.
Yeah and the REALLY bad thing (and the one thing they don’t talk about openly alot) is all the billions Iran is getting infused back into their economy from the sanctions being lifted..since Iran is the Heavyweight champion of State Sponsored Terrorism by supporting groups like: Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthi’s in Yemen who are at this moment waging a successful guerilla war against Saudi Arabia and in the process doing a great job of de-stabilizing the entire Middle East, you can bet that money will find a way to support terrorism against the United States…oh but wait, John Kerry has told us that Iran is “helping” to fight ISIS..yeah right..ever heard the phrase “The enemy of my enemy is my friend?” Mr. Kerry?? Let me remind everybody that IRAN in 1979 during the Hostage Crisis was Americas first taste of militant islam….that is their roots.
