My personal definition:
“The willingness to ACT in a situation in which you have imperfect information to save and/or defend lives”.
Nothing exemplifies this statement better than two men who helped rescue 3 children from a minivan that had been driven into the ocean by a disturbed mother intent on killing all of them, including herself, in North Carolina this past Tuesday. Read the entire story HERE.
Stacey Robinson and Tim Tesseneer, two civilian by-standers who happened to be on the beach that day wasted no time jumping into action after hearing one of the children scream “Our mom is trying to Kill us!!”. Watch below as the two men waste no time in getting the kids out before a big wave engulfs the vehicle.

These two extraordinarily brave men, Stacey Robinson and Tim Tesseneer, along with the lifeguards on duty that day, all deserve special recognition and I formally award all of them the very first:
HCS CIVILIAN OPERATOR OF THE MONTH AWARD!!
These guys show the qualities that a true Civilian Operator is all about; Self-lessness, Sacrifice, Bravery and Honor. They are true Everyday Heroes and I am proud to call them brothers!
