All the Ways Your Wi-Fi Router Can Spy on You
(click on above link to be re-directed)
Overall, not surprising news by a long shot but you may be shocked at the WAYS in which it can spy on you, specifically, programs like Wi-Key. Like all Technology in the tight hands tools like this could be useful, but in the wrong ones devastating.
As I said in yesterday’s piece, when you read stuff like this you can only think of the line from 1984:
“To the past, or to the future. To an age when thought is free. From the Age of Big Brother, from the Age of the Thought Police, from a dead man… greetings.”
Stay Alert, Stay Armed and Stay Dangerous!
I have an older PC; and a cable provider. Their security has me running “stealth” With (I venture to say) most folks now using laptops, tablets, etc. this post is very relevant. Now they want everyone to connect to the “cloud”, even less secure then Wi Fi. I much appreciate your posts.
P.S. I gather the picture is the link; however, it seems to be inactive. Is it me, or is the link broken?
The Article Title is the link, and it is now active.
That is the third time that has happened on an article. I personally think it is trolls de-activating my links. I had issues before with this when I printed excerpts, which is why I have started using the Article Title as the link now.
This does not even scratch the surface on the stuff the alphabet agencies are doing with manipulating bluetooth and radio waves..almost all Tablets and Laptops are now bluetooth compatible, this basically puts an active radio transceiver in your machine, un-encrypted radio freqs by themselves are very easy to hack and exploit. More to come on this later.
Yes, the idea of linking everything together is anathema. [one of my old posts, is on caller ID] I refuse to buy a new TV. Need to find an old, UNsmart Cathode ray TV.
Nothing sacred… I won’t ask how they manage to do that.
