I have 3 man-made lakes behind my house. I took my 80 lb Rottie out for a walk. My Lord! I spotted a water moccasin. This sucker was HUGE. I took my dog back in the house to get my little 9mm. I raced back to the lake and shot that HUGE SOB.
It was only 2 minutes or so, and I heard this voice behind me, “Elaine, what the hell are you doing! ” I turned around, and it was a cop! I pointed my finger at the snake.
“Children play out here. Mothers stroll their babies around this pound. What else was I to do?!”
All he said was, “Elaine, don’t be shootin’ guns in the city limits, okay?
I replied, ‘Yes, Sir.”
I’ve been dreading 2016 for just this reason! He has nothing to lose now, who is he going to turn our country over to this year! Plus all those blasted political campaign phone calls!!!!
