I wanted to quote the last half of this article (Here is the Full Article: Why We Are Losing the War on Terror<\/a>) <\/strong>to let you read some of the most important points the author makes.<\/p>\n The Global Islamic Insurgency is HERE<\/strong> Folks, Right Now. They are in Phase I: Latent and Incipient Insurgency as described below. Arm Yourself and Train Accordingly.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Many things are very wrong with our counter-terrorism strategy and have been wrong for a long time.\u00a0 Neither the Bush nor Obama Administrations have had a successful strategy.\u00a0 The Obama Administration\u2019s strategy, although lengthy, sounds like a global community organizer\u2019s touchy-feely plan to build a better community rather than a strategy to combat an enemy and keep American citizens safe.\u00a0 One other huge problem with Obama\u2019s plan is this statement in his strategy document<\/a> (2011):<\/p>\n \u201cThe United States deliberately uses the word \u201cwar\u201d to describe our relentless campaign against al-Qa\u2018ida. However, this Administration has made it clear that we are not at war with the tactic of terrorism or the religion of Islam. We are at war with a specific organization\u2014al-Qa\u2018ida.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n When you read the Obama strategy, you\u2019ll notice that he and his administration are really only interested in making al-Qa\u2018ida \u201cirrelevant\u201d and not defeating the true enemy.\u00a0 The Obama administration sees the \u201cterrorists\u201d as criminals and not combatants.<\/p>\n Neither the Bush or the Obama administration has made good on its strategy to secure the homeland or take the fight abroad.\u00a0 Our political and military decision makers have failed the American people.\u00a0 The reality is that we\u2019re not safer today than we were just after 911.\u00a0 Why is that?<\/p>\n 1. We do not have a strategy that clearly defines who our nation\u2019s enemies are and what our end state is.
\n2. We fail to truly understand the ideology and culture of who we are fighting.
\n3. We have a terrible information campaign at home and abroad.
\n4. We have never mobilized our nation (its people or industrial complex) to deal with the threat.
\n5. We have not sealed our borders or made it harder for potential enemies to enter.
\n6. We haven\u2019t figured out yet that we have no Muslim Allies.\u00a0 Some of our so called \u201callies\u201d are actually subverting us and we are continuing to allow them to do so.<\/p>\n
