It\u2019s the language of \u201c1984\u201d that\u2019s of particular use. The book is perhaps most applicable for its exploration of the relationship between nuanced language and thought, and the way dishonest, inaccurate language leads to a breakdown of identity and capacity for independent reasoning. Curiously, Orwell was originally planning on titling the book \u201cThe Last Man in Europe.\u201d<\/h2>\n<h2>Orwell demonstrated astonishing prescience when he wrote his book about a cartoon and clown world, one we are witnessing today.<\/h2>\n<h2>By creating nonsensical jargon, called\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cnewspeak,\u201d<\/strong> <\/em>that\u2019s only understood by the few workers who employ it, the Crime Syndicate <em>kakistocracy<\/em> limits the potential for communication.<\/h2>\n<h2>When newspeak becomes the only language spoken, the kakistocracy\u2019s control over the population becomes total and absolute.<\/h2>\n<h2><b>Newspeak<\/b>\u00a0contains no negative terms.
