One of my favorite 70’s westerns was Sam Peckinpah’s Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid\u00a0<\/em>starring Kristofferson as Billy. I always thought the chemistry between him and James Coburn was great in that movie. Another movie I always remember of his was Flashpoint<\/em> from 1984 where he played a Border Patrol officer.<\/h2>\n

I suppose The Highwayman is the most fitting song to send him off with.<\/h2>\n
