A group of about 20 migrants terrified young children by trying to get on their California school bus early Wednesday \u2014 a day after a smaller group walked down a highway trying to stop another bus, district officials said.<\/em><\/h2>\n

The alarming incidents occurred in the Jamul-Dulzura Union School District close to the Mexico border \u2014 where\u00a0school bus drivers are now being ordered to skip stops where migrants might be waiting.<\/em><\/h2>\n

On Tuesday, at least three migrants walked in the middle of Highway 94\u00a0to try to stop a bus that was forced to go around them,\u00a0Fox 5 reported.<\/em><\/h2>\n

Then early Wednesday, about 20 tried to get on a bus at the same stop just off the highway as students got on for school \u2014 forcing parents to make sure their kids were safe.<\/em><\/h2>\n

\u201cIt was definitely really scary,\u201d said mom Nicole Cardinale, whose 8-year-old son was on the bus Wednesday.<\/em><\/h2>\n

\u201cYour initial shock is you\u2019re helpless,\u201d she said of getting alerted to the scary run in.<\/em><\/h2>\n

Cardinale said her son was \u201creally confused\u201d by the scary episode. \u201cHe said these adults \u2014 they weren\u2019t kids \u2014 had backpacks on and they were trying to get on our bus \u2026 He said there was a lot of them,\u201d she told Fox 5.<\/em><\/h2>\n
