AIPAC, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, is a lobbying organization that promotes Israeli interests, and has been firmly entrenched in the Washington political landscape for more than half a century. The group\u00a0<\/span>operates<\/span>\u00a0a\u00a0<\/span>Super-PAC<\/span><\/a>\u00a0called the United Democracy Project, which spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on advertisements attacking Massie during his May primary election campaign. Massie\u00a0<\/span>ultimately won<\/span>\u00a0anyway by a large margin. Fresh off his landslide victory, the Kentucky\u00a0<\/span>congressman<\/span>\u00a0exposed some\u00a0<\/span>heretofore<\/span>\u00a0hidden information about the breadth of AIPAC\u2019s influence during his conversation with Carlson.<\/span><\/h2>\n

Miriam Adelson: Queen of American Zionism<\/em><\/h2>\n

On the question of whether much of America\u2019s Jewish population has a \u201cdual loyalty\u201d to both Israel and the United States, paleoconservative writer Joe Sobran once remarked that \u201cDual loyalty would be an improvement!\u201d (1)<\/h2>\n

<\/span>Sobran\u2019s quip is so depressingly appropriate in the context of the political activities of one Dr. Miriam Adelson. She is the widow of billionaire casino magnate and Republican donor Sheldon Adelson, who died in early 2021. As reported in\u00a0The Times of Israel<\/em>:<\/h2>\n

The Adelsons ended up backing Trump to the tune of $30 million in 2016. They followed that by contributing $100 million to the Republican Party for the 2018 midterm elections. In all, Adelson donated over $250 million to GOP candidates and super PACs since 2015.<\/h2>\n
