He was discovered in a sugarcane field close to where he lived.<\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"loaded aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/images.caxton.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/144\/2024\/05\/Missingfarmer_10824-780x470.jpeg\" data-lazy=\"true\" data-src=\"https:\/\/images.caxton.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/144\/2024\/05\/Missingfarmer_10824-780x470.jpeg\" data-was-processed=\"true\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Cromhout\u2019s farmhouse had been ransacked prompting his family to search for the missing man frantically.<\/h2>\n<h2>The suspects were found in possession of items stolen from Cromhout\u2019s home. They were charged with murder, housebreaking and theft, illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition as well as the possession of the suspected stolen property.<\/h2>\n<h2><em><a href=\"https:\/\/witness.co.za\/news\/2024\/06\/03\/missing-elderly-mans-body-found\/\">Missing elderly man\u2019s body found<\/a><\/em><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h2><em>A 77-year-old man was killed at a farm in Vredenburg Western Cape province in South Africa.<\/em><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h2><em>A man and woman, ages 66 and 65 respectively, suffered head injuries after being assaulted during a farm attack in Ladybrand, Eastern Cape province.<\/em><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h2><em>Two farm workers were held at gunpoint in Eastern Cape province. Seven sheep were stolen.<\/em><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h2><em>A woman was severely assaulted at a farm near Rustenburg, North West province. Several household items were reported stolen.<\/em><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h2><em>A man and woman managed to avert a farm attack in Groblersdal, Limpopo province.<\/em><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h2><em>One of two male victims was shot in his left leg during a farm attack near Tzaneen, Limpopo province.<\/em><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h2><em>A male and two females, one of whom was the man\u2019s daughter, were victims of a farm attack in Groblersdal, Limpopo province.<\/em><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h2><em>A man and woman fell victim to a farm attack in Westonaria, Gauteng province. Stolen were keys, handbags, and cell phones. A Toyota was also taken.<\/em><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h2><em>Two men were severely assaulted at a farm near Middelburg, Mpumalanga province.
