Those of you who study active killers should take a look at this one.\u00a0 This might be the best example of the\u00a0mobile active killers I\u2019ve been writing about for the last few years<\/a>. He started by killing family members and then randomly shot people at five different sites over two counties and more than 10 hours.<\/em><\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n

SAN ANTONIO<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 A 34-year-old San Antonio man was arrested late Tuesday in Austin after a string of attacks that left six people dead \u2014 including two people in Bexar County \u2014 and at least three others injured.<\/h2>\n

Police in Austin said the victims were found dead in pairs in different homes during the daylong attacks. Police have\u00a0identified the suspect as Shane James<\/a>\u00a0Jr.<\/h2>\n

Travis County Jail records show James Jr. was booked after 1:30 a.m. Wednesday and charged with capital murder in addition to several out-of-county misdemeanors.<\/h2>\n

Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said James Jr. had three warrants in Bexar County for misdemeanor assault causing bodily injury-family. He was\u00a0bonded out by the Texas Organizing Project<\/a>\u00a0in early 2022.<\/h2>\n

Warrants for James Jr.\u2019s re-arrest were issued almost two years ago \u2014 but he apparently remained free.<\/h2>\n

Austin police said they believe James Jr. is the sole suspect responsible for all of the deaths there. The relationships between the suspect and victims have not been released, nor the motive.<\/h2>\n

Salazar confirmed James Jr. is\u00a0accused of killing two people here<\/a>.<\/h2>\n
