Vehicle Preparedness is one of the most important areas of Preparation. Why?<\/h2>\n

Well, besides our home, our vehicle is where we spend a good majority of our time (typically commuting to a job so we can pay for the home!) so it makes sense if something were to go sideways, it would happen out on the road.<\/h2>\n

Now besides having all the standard kit such as a VBOB<\/a> (to include a well stocked trauma kit) some practical repair tools, a firearm or two and a cell phone what else should I have?<\/h2>\n

Well within the “Practical Tools” tab you should definitely include a Portable Power Station\/Jump Starter.<\/h2>\n

Why? Well If you apply the famous saying “Nobody is Coming to Save You”<\/em> to also mean:<\/h2>\n

“Nobody is going to be there to give you a Jump Start at 3 a.m. in Bumfrick Egypt!”<\/em><\/h2>\n

Now depending on your budget you can also get units that are also Air Compressors (Like the DeWalt Unit<\/a> Shown above)<\/h2>\n

For simplicity sake however I found the Top 3 Portable Battery Only Jump Starter Units<\/a> all of them for under $100.<\/h2>\n
