Steed tramping proud<\/em><\/h3>\n

Voice carried firm\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

Blood flowing pure?<\/em><\/h3>\n

Where is my binded kilt<\/em><\/h3>\n

Pleats swirling quick<\/em><\/h3>\n

Tartan shining bright<\/em><\/h3>\n

Belt pulled snug?<\/em><\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

Where is my faithful claymor<\/em><\/h3>\n

Blade chopping swift<\/em><\/h3>\n

Hilt woven stout<\/em><\/h3>\n

Scabbard empty apt<\/em><\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

Have we stuffed such to forget our old chieftains<\/em><\/h3>\n

Have we been enlightened to scorn our fathers dress<\/em><\/h3>\n

Have we laid down our ancient broadswords<\/em><\/h3>\n

And invited a foreigner to our mother\u2019s breast?<\/em><\/h3>\n

Do our eyes no more see charging stallions<\/em><\/h3>\n

Do our legs forget roads long past<\/em><\/h3>\n

Do our arms not recall clash and fire<\/em><\/h3>\n

Shall we spit upon what God gave to admire?<\/em><\/h3>\n

Are songs not sung of great heroes<\/em><\/h3>\n

Are badges of kinsfolk no more worn<\/em><\/h3>\n

Are bastions of nation now failed to build<\/em><\/h3>\n

My blood yet burns hotly<\/em><\/h3>\n

And fills my veins with razors<\/em><\/h3>\n

My mind still recalls our fallen kings<\/em><\/h3>\n

My belt is pulled tight<\/em><\/h3>\n

And girds my loins in iron<\/em><\/h3>\n

My plaid is dyed brightly<\/em><\/h3>\n

My broadsword is raised highly<\/em><\/h3>\n

And blade is keely worked<\/em><\/h3>\n

My targe is griped firm<\/em><\/h3>\n
