OK, when a CO is making a “What I Want” for Christmas List for his or her spouse or significant other, Firearms, Firearms Accessories, Ammunition, Knives and Knife Accessories are always gonna be obvious choices, we all know that…(In fact I am willing to bet most of you CO’s out there get Gift Cards mainly because friends and family don’t know what you have and don’t have!) so what I decided to do this year was make a Top 10 List of “Other” Gift ideals to give our spouses, children and family so they have a general direction to go with. My goal here was to try and stay to make the gift practical and affordable, so for the most part, I have excluded “high-end” electronics.\u00a0These are in no certain order or precedence BTW, so don’t think #1 is a better choice than #10!!<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0Lumora Flashlight\/Lantern<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

I already talked about this handy piece of kit in a precious piece,<\/a> but I was so pleased with mine, I thought I should include it on this list.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0Goal Zero Solar Recharging Kit<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

A Bit pricey, but wow..talk about a gift that keeps on giving for many years to come!!<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0Tool Logic Credit Card Companion<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am all about EDC “hybrid” combative devices, and for the price, this one is cool.<\/p>\n

4. Kaito Voyager Emergency Radio<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

There are more expensive emergency radio’s out there with more bells and whistles, but if you want a simple, dependable radio that has all just what you need, this is it.<\/p>\n

5. Electronic Hearing Protection<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

For a very long time I despised electronic hearing muffs because I could never find a pair that held up to the rigors of CO training, well, I found some. What you get for the price is awesome.<\/p>\n

6. Jump N’ Carry Portable Jump Starter<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

I cannot stress how important it is to have one of these in ALL your vehicles. There is nothing worse than having to depend on somebody to give you a jump, especially in today’s unpredictable world…help improve the odds that the CO in your life will not be stranded!<\/p>\n

7. All Enemies Foreign and Domestic Book Trilogy<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Every CO will enjoy this book trilogy…it combines all the elements of a post-apocalyptic thriller with the realism of the modern day fight to retain our 2nd Amendment Rights as Americans.<\/p>\n

8. Maratac AA Tactical Flashlight<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

As many of you know I am a flashlight geek, so I was perplexed in deciding which light to list, so I went with my latest addition which has become my new EDC light. I could go on and on why I love this little powerhouse, but I will keep it short and give you 2 reasons: It runs off one AA Battery and packs 145 \u00a0Lumens on High.<\/p>\n

9. Kelly Mccann Combatives DVD Set<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Hands down, the best Combatives training on DVD period. Kelly will show you practical and effective ways to defend yourself out on the street. No “Wanna-be-Rambo” gimmicks, just straight up, ass kicking training for the CO that is serious about self-defense.<\/p>\n

10. SOG Snarl EDC Blade<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

OK, OK I know I said guns and knives were a no brainer, but I had to throw this in there…for under $40 this is an awesome gift. I have had mine for a few months and I gotta tell you it is the Uber-EDC Fixed Blade..small, sharp and practical..this will make any CO smile!!<\/p>\n
