Today is my 22nd Wedding Anniversary and I wanted to take a moment and wax sentimental about the One and Only First True Love of my Life, The Mother of my Children, “my Little Bluebird”, my Wife.<\/h3>\n

Honorable, Faithful, Dutiful and Beautiful Inside and Out<\/em><\/h3>\n

These are the words that describe her.<\/h3>\n

Most people today do not associate words like this with MARRIAGE, and therein lies the problem with “modern” society.<\/h3>\n

As a Husband your first priority is your WIFE. No Questions aksed.<\/h3>\n

You have been tasked with Her safety, provision, stability and overall welfare.<\/h3>\n

I know some people like to add “Happiness” in there, but in my opinion Happiness is a very subjective thing because it is a State of Mind and let’s face it, no man can be responsible for a woman’s State of Mind! (A dangerous attempt at levity and humor? \ud83d\ude0e<\/span><\/a>)<\/h3>\n

When you Marry before a Holy God, you take VOWS.<\/h3>\n

These Vows are non-negotiable and binding until DEATH.<\/h3>\n

As a Military Man, I always saw my VOWS as a matter of DUTY, and contrary to popular belief, DUTY has nothing to do with your FEELINGS.<\/h3>\n

DUTY has everything to do with being COMMITTED to something BIGGER than YOURSELF.<\/h3>\n

Which brings me to my next quality: LOYALTY.<\/h3>\n

There is a lot to be said for a LOYAL woman, a woman that sticks by your side regardless of the circumstances, whether you are sick or broke or depressed, it does not matter.<\/h3>\n

SHE has your back.<\/h3>\n

A LOYAL Woman knows that the GRASS is always greener over the sewer tank for a reason!<\/h3>\n

Take my word on this gentleman, when it comes to a GOOD woman, LOYALTY is a quality worth it’s weight in pure GOLD!<\/h3>\n

I will close with this scripture from Proverbs 31:30<\/h3>\n

“Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord<\/span>, she shall be praised.”<\/em><\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n
