While it is currently legal to openly carry a long arm, our New Governor saw fit to have Texas <em><strong>POSSIBLY<\/strong><\/em> join the majority of the rest of the country that allows Open Carry of a Handgun with a Permit. (See Map of States\u00a0<span style=\"color:#ff0000;\"><strong><a style=\"color:#ff0000;\" href=\"http:\/\/my.opencarry.org\/?page_id=103\">HERE<\/a>)<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Although personally I am not a fan of Open Carry (I feel Concealed Carry offers the CO more advantage.)
