Despite overwhelming evidence, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/chicago.cbslocal.com\/2019\/03\/26\/jussie-smollett-charges-dropped-eddie-johnson-reacts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">strong disagreement from Chicago Police<\/a>, and basic common sense, the Smollett charges are being dismissed.<\/h2>\n<h2><em>\u201cAfter reviewing all of the facts and circumstances of the case, including Mr. Smollett\u2019s volunteer service in the community and agreement to forfeit his bond to the City of Chicago, we believe this outcome is a just disposition and appropriate resolution to this case,\u201d the Cook County State\u2019s Attorney\u2019s office stated in an email.<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2><em>A judge also granted a motion to seal the case.<\/em><\/h2>\n<h2>Hmmm, I wonder why the judge had to seal the case? Maybe because if anyone with a brain saw the evidence, the guilt &amp; cover-up would be obvious? There were 530 murders in Chicago in 2018 and countless other violent crimes.
