New Connecticut Bill would Add a 50% Tax to Ammunition<\/a><\/h1>\n

I typically don’t post “proposed” gun control\u00a0 legislation articles simply for the fact that it almost always is “much ado about nothing” but when I read about this one I had to share it simply because it exemplifies the out-of-touch fantasy mentality of the left in this country when it comes to firearms.<\/h3>\n

The fact that this space cadet politician regards firearms as a “Health” issue tells you all you need to know about her.<\/h3>\n

I have said this many times before, but when you put the word\u00a0Tax”<\/em>\u00a0on\u00a0ANYTHING\u00a0<\/em>regarding firearms, ammunition or parts, that is a blatant INFRINGEMENT<\/em> of the Second Amendment.<\/h3>\n

I found it funny that the article went to great lengths to show how SCOTUS struck down “taxing” attempts on firearms and ammunition but neglected the Elephant in the Room, the BATF $200\u00a0“tax stamp”<\/em> required for the purchase of Suppressors or Short Barreled Rifles (SBR).<\/h3>\n

If we use the same logic and letter of the law, these “tax stamps” target a specific right and are thus\u00a0ILLEGAL<\/em> according to the Second Amendment.<\/h3>\n

I guess somebody neglected to tell the BATF that fact or maybe they just don’t care about Constitutional Rights anymore?<\/h3>\n
