My last Fast-Fire took a bullet ricochet in the top right corner of the lens, cracking the glass and damaging the frame…. it continued to operate and hold zero until Burris replaced it free of charge earlier this year; so I know these little boogers are tough, I just wanted to minimize the chance of it getting damaged again!

With the Free-of-Charge FastFire replacement, the good folks at Burris were good enough to send me a Picatinny Protector Mount. The bracket, like the optic, weighs in at 6 ounces, so this little package together is only 12 ounces.

Looking down the sights the outer bracket adds a “framing” quality to the optic, helping you “capture” your shot quickly if need be.
