\u201cIslamist knifemen forced priest, 84, to kneel and filmed his death as they slit his throat,\u201d the Daily Mail reported Tuesday<\/a>. \u201c[J]ihadists storm French church during Mass chanting \u2018Allahu Akbar.\u2019\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Socialist French President Francois Hollande declared France \u201cat war with ISIS.\u201d The Vatican condemned the killing of the priest and the critical injuring of a nun as \u201cbarbaric.\u201d Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy called for the response to be \u201cmerciless.\u201d<\/p>\n

That would be the same Hollande who extolled the \u201cbenefits of immigration<\/a><\/em>,\u201d and warned against listening to \u201cscaremongers and prophets of doom<\/em>.\u201d That would be the same Vatican that \u201ccondemn[ed] EU leaders\u2019<\/a> efforts to shut out refugees.\u201d<\/p>\n

Outrageously (but sadly, unsurprisingly), one of the attackers was a known extremist, out on bail \u201cafter twice attempting to join fanatics in Syria,\u201d and wearing an electronic monitoring tag.<\/h3>\n

Even when they know of a threat, government repeatedly fails spectacularly in its primary duty of protecting life, liberty and property. And it doubles down on that failure by forbidding citizens to protect themselves from the conditions it makes both predictable and inevitable.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe regulation of guns in France<\/a> is categorised as restrictive,\u201d GunPolicy.org, an anti-gun globalist project of the Sydney School of Public Health advises. There\u2019s a \u201cgenuine reason\u201d requirement, licensing, background checks, registration, selective gun bans to include handguns, ammunition and firearm limits, and a host of other infringements. Carrying is strictly limited<\/a> to that which is sanctioned for official reasons.<\/p>\n

The people attending the mass were forbidden by law from being armed and capable of intervening, and conditioned against being responsible for their own protection and protection of others anyway. It took agents of the state, arriving after the fact, to take the two killers down \u2013 with guns.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

And that\u2019s the way President Hollande likes it. After all, he\u2019s got his taxpayer\u2013funded bodyguards, Clouseau-like though they may be<\/a>, as he oversees a policy that arms Syrian rebels<\/a> while \u201cdemand[ing] a complete overhaul<\/a> of Europe\u2019s lax gun controls.\u201d<\/p>\n

Likewise, Pope Francis, who benefits from the protection of both high walls to keep \u201cmigrants<\/em>\u201d out of his city-state, as well as the heavily-armed Swiss Guard, says those who supply his armed detail can\u2019t \u201ccall themselves Christian<\/a>.\u201d And Sarkozy was notoriously anti-gun, \u201cagainst the private ownership of firearms<\/a>,\u201d warning that self-defense was dangerous.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s France, though, right? If, after the Charlie Hebdo<\/a> massacre, Nice<\/a> and this they still want to pursue insane, suicidal policies, we can feel bad for their foolishness, but what does it really have to do with us?<\/p>\n

Aside from the fact that those are the same policies being pursued by Hillary Clinton and the Democrats?<\/h3>\n

She has pledged to continue Obama\u2019s subversive welcoming of more unvettable Islamist \u201crefugees\u201d<\/a> while simultaneously plotting French-style citizen disarmament under the lying guise<\/a> of \u201ccommon sense gun safety.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the citizen disarmament lobby strategists and their useful idiots continue to disparage and oppose the only thing that has a chance of deterring a similar church attack here. And that\u2019s something would-be Islamic terrorists\u00a0actually brag about being able to exploit<\/a>.<\/p>\n
