And The Religion of Peace<\/a> site tracks murderous jihad attacks around the world, including the U.S. Why don\u2019t we meet back here in a year and see who has killed more people in the U.S.: Islamic jihadis or \u201cIslamophobes.\u201d No attacks on any innocent people are ever justified, but note also that many of the Huffington Post\u2019s documented instances of \u201cIslamophobia\u201d are sensible measures designed to protect people from jihad terror and Sharia oppression, such as bills to ban Sharia or track Syrian refugees, or are just statements they don\u2019t like. They are trying to demonize and silence all opposition to jihad terror.<\/p>\n

The Huffington Post \u2013 which considers itself a reputable news source \u2013 has started an \u201cIslamophobia\u201d tracker. This little side project on its site tracks anti-Muslim remarks, harassment, intimidation, bigotry and acts of violence against Muslims. Why? Because the Huffington Post feels a severe phobia about Muslims has taken over America in recent months. From their site:<\/p>\n

After last year\u2019s terror attacks in Paris and mass shooting in San Bernardino, California \u2014 and amidst a surge in anti-Muslim rhetoric from U.S. politicians \u2014 reports about Muslims in America facing violence, harassment, intimidation and bigotry have become omnipresent. Many Muslims say Islamophobia is worse now than it\u2019s ever been \u2014 even worse than it was after 9\/11.<\/p>\n

It might be impossible to create a comprehensive list of discriminatory acts against American Muslims and those perceived to be Muslim, but The Huffington Post will document this deplorable wave of hate for all of 2016 using news reports and firsthand accounts. The breadth and severity of Islamophobia in America can no longer go unnoticed. Enough is enough.<\/p>\n

At the bottom of this tracker page, For those looking to \u201cstand up for your Muslim neighbors,\u201d The Huffington Post links to CAIR \u2013 an Islamic organization with ties to radical terrorist groups. There\u2019s also a \u201cvisit your local mosque\u201d link.<\/p>\n

As of Tuesday, there have been 28 \u201cdocumented\u201d instances of Islamophobia \u2013 all in the month of January. They are not just \u201chate crimes,\u201d there is media coverage and legislation they dislike:<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s just a sampling of the \u201cinstances\u201d where islamophobia was committed:<\/p>\n

\u2013 During the Republican presidential debate in Iowa, Fox News Channel\u2019s Megyn Kelly \u201cwonders if seeing Muslims justifies a call to police.\u201d In contest, she wondered if neighbors of the San Bernadino shooters should have reported something if they saw large packages being delivered to their house.<\/p>\n

\u2013 State legislature in South Carolina advances a bill forbidding Sharia law in courts.<\/p>\n

\u2013 State senate committee in South Carolina okays a bill to track Syrian refugees.<\/p>\n

\u2013 \u201cHate speech\u201d at California State University in Sacramento (though the actual hateful message wasn\u2019t elaborated on by the college administrators.)<\/p>\n

\u2013 Legislation in Tennessee that would \u201cstop Islamic religious indoctrination\u201d when parents expressed anger over lessons on Islam and a teacher having their students write and say \u201cAllah is the only god\u201d for a project \u2013 though Christianity and Judaism were barely given a mention\u2026.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
