It is EXTREMELY important that we, as Patriotic, Freedom Loving Americans, know our Constitutional History inside and out; because when corrupt and immoral people, like BHO, try to manipulate, misquote and basically re-interpret it, we can call him out on it and if we are lucky, PROSECUTE them for TREASON. Don’t be fooled folks, TYRANTS, since time immemorial, have tried to use this tactic to “mold the masses” to their will for centuries. This is one of the many reasons I believe that not only the study but the practical APPLICATION of History is vitally important for both the Future of America, but also the Future of all TRUE Patriots.-SF<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Look it up. I\u2019m in good company<\/em>.’\u201d \u2014 From USA Today on Barack Obama\u2019s visit<\/a> to the Islamic Society of Baltimore, February 3, 2016<\/p>\n

Barack Obama paid a visit \u2014 his first \u2014 to an American mosque today. He did so in the same feelgood spirit with which he held his first \u201cAnnual Iftar Dinner\u201d in 2010. That dinner prompted a Jihad Watch post which, considerably modified and enlarged, is reprinted below.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe first Muslim ambassador to the United States, from Tunisia, was hosted by President Jefferson, who arranged a sunset dinner for his guest because it was Ramadan \u2014 making it the first known iftar at the White House, more than 200 years ago<\/em>.\u201d \u2014 Barack Obama, speaking on August 14, 2010, at the \u201cAnnual Iftar Dinner\u201d at the White House<\/p>\n

Really? Is that what happened? Was there a \u201cfirst known Iftar at the White House\u201d given by none other than President Thomas Jefferson for the \u201cfirst Muslim ambassador to the United States\u201d? That\u2019s what Barack Obama and his dutiful speechwriters told the Muslims in attendance at what was billed as the \u201cAnnual Iftar Dinner,\u201d knowing full well that the remarks would be published for all Americans to see. Apparently Obama, and those who helped write this speech for him, and others still who vetted it, found nothing wrong with attempting, as part of the administration\u2019s policy of both trying to win Muslim hearts and Muslim mind and to convince Americans that Islam has always been part of America\u2019s history, to misrepresent that history. For the dinner Jefferson gave was not intended to be an Iftar dinner, and his guest that evening was not \u201cthe first Muslim ambassador\u2026. from Tunisia,\u201d but in using such words, Obama was engaged in a little nunc pro tunc\u00a0<\/em>backdating, so that the Iftar dinner that he gave in 2010 could be presented as part of a supposed tradition of such presidential Iftar dinners, going all the way back to the time of Jefferson.<\/p>\n

But before explaining what that \u201cfirst Iftar dinner\u201d really was, let\u2019s go back to an earlier but even more egregious example of Obama\u2019s rewriting: the speech he delivered in Cairo on June 4, 2009. In that speech, he described Islam and America sharing basic principles:<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve come here to Cairo to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world, one based on mutual interest and mutual respect, and one based upon the truth that America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition.\u00a0 Instead, they overlap, and share common principles \u2014 principles of justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.\u201d<\/p>\n
