Honest citizens defend themselves with a firearm every day.\u00a0 I\u2019m sure you\u2019re shocked at that news since democrat politicians and news media tell us that armed self-defense never happens.\u00a0 Here are examples from the last few weeks.\u00a0 These ordinary citizens were thrown into extraordinary situations.<\/p>\n
These armed defenders were both surprised\u2026 and prepared.\u00a0 They saved their life and protected those they love.<\/strong><\/p>\n -A 65-year-old Manchester, New Hampshire woman stopped to buy gasoline after leaving work late at night.\u00a0 She noticed a dark colored sedan following her as she drove home to her apartment. \u00a0She was concerned so she parked as close to her building as possible. \u00a0She has her concealed carry permit and the training that comes with it.\u00a0 She moved her firearm from her purse to her pocket in case she needed it.\u00a0 She hurried to her apartment stairway but the mugger ran in front of her.\u00a0 He blocked her path and grabbed her shoulder. \u00a0The elderly grandmother then drew her pistol and\u00a0shot the mugger in the chest.<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0He ran. \u00a0The old woman took shelter in her building and called police. \u00a0The mugger and his accomplice were picked up by police at a nearby hospital.<\/p>\n Anti-gun activists said this old lady would be safer if she was disarmed.\u00a0 What do you think?<\/strong><\/p>\n -Two cars stopped in front of a home in Houston, Texas. \u00a0Six to eight men piled out of the cars and quickly forced their way into a nearby home. \u00a0A neighbor who was walking down the sidewalk witnessed the home invasion.\u00a0 One of the thugs pointed a gun at him.\u00a0 The neighbor was carrying a concealed weapon and\u00a0shot and killed the robber<\/a>\u00a0in self-defense.\u00a0 This caused the other men to flee leaving and leave their stolen car behind. \u00a0The armed pedestrian and the one person inside the home were not injured.<\/p>\n Anti-gun activists say we would be safer if law-abiding citizens were limited on how many bullets we can have in our guns.\u00a0 These eight thieves won\u2019t follow that law.<\/p>\n What would have happened if this neighbor had only a few bullets in his gun?<\/strong><\/p>\n -Two men knocked at the front door of a Memphis home at about 6 PM.\u00a0 A woman opened the door and one man forced his way inside.\u00a0 The intruder put a gun against the woman\u2019s neck. \u00a0The male homeowner heard the woman scream.\u00a0 Fortunately, he was armed and stepped toward the front door.\u00a0 The homeowner shot the armed intruder several times.<\/a>\u00a0 The dead assailant had a long criminal record including arrests for aggravated burglary and aggravated assault.<\/p>\n Anti-rights activists say we would be safer if our guns were disassembled and locked in a gun safe.\u00a0 Did this man have time to open a safe?<\/p>\n -A North St Louis county homeowner heard two men loudly bang on his front door.\u00a0 The homeowner had recently moved into the home.\u00a0 He didn\u2019t recognize the men and wasn\u2019t expecting visitors at 10:30 in the morning.\u00a0 Fortunately, the homeowner was armed when the two thieves smashed through the back door of his home.\u00a0 The armed burglars shot at the homeowner.\u00a0 The homeowner shot back and killed one of the thieves.<\/a>\u00a0 The second thief ran and was arrested by police a few days later.\u00a0 He was wanted for several recent robberies.<\/p>\n Drug gangs shoot ten thousand people each year, yet anti-rights activists say we would be safer if honest citizens were disarmed.\u00a0 Does that make sense to you?<\/p>\n -Three masked men entered a Family Dollar store late at night.\u00a0 One of the thieves pointed a gun at the store clerk and demanded the money in the cash register.\u00a0 Fortunately, one of the customers standing in line was armed with a gun of his own.\u00a0 He pointed his gun at the robbers<\/a>, but the three thieves turned and ran before the armed customer could fire.\u00a0 Police in Newport News, Virginia said these three thieves were wanted for a string of similar robberies.<\/p>\n The armed customer saved lives without firing a shot.\u00a0 Would we really be safer if honest citizens were disarmed?<\/strong><\/p>\n I\u00a0report on citizen self-defense<\/a>\u00a0every week.\u00a0 My next article about ordinary citizens stopping mass murder<\/a> will be out in a few weeks.
