This Country has gone to SHIT.\u00a0I never thought I would see the day when it would be LEGAL to wear military medals you DID NOT EARN and trample the memory of all those brave men who DID EARN THEM. This DISHONORS the very essence of what the United States Military Stands for.\u00a0Of course it would have to be the 9th Circuit Court who passed this..the members of that court are the most spineless, useless, immoral pieces of primordial shit to every disgrace the face of the earth.\u00a0I will openly tell you: this is one law I will not abide because it it unjust and has no honor. It appears Men of Honor are now a thing of the past. -SF<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-10673\" src=\"https:\/\/hcsblogdotorg.files.wordpress.com\/2016\/01\/ph.jpg?w=620\" alt=\"PH\" width=\"620\" height=\"310\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A federal court deemed stolen valor legal as a form of free speech.<br \/>\nOn Jan. 11, a federal appeals court ruled that wearing unearned military medals is a form of free speech protected under the Constitution.<\/p>\n<p>The decision was reached by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals through an 11-judge panel, which found that the First Amendment protects citizens from being charged with stolen valor as a crime, according to The Associated Press.<br \/>\nIn 2006, President George Bush signed the Stolen Valor Act, which made it a misdemeanor to falsely claim military accomplishments into law. However, the Supreme Court struck it down in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>After the Stolen Valor Act was deemed unconstitutional, Congress passed a law making it a crime to profit financially by lying about military service and President Barack Obama signed it in 2013.<\/p>\n<p>This decision allowed the court to overturn an Idaho man\u2019s conviction for wearing unearned medals.<\/p>\n<p>The convicted man, Elven Joe Swisher, was a Korean War Marine who testified on the stand in a 2005 criminal case wearing several military medals.
