Last night, Rolling Stone<\/a> magazine published an interview with Joaqu\u00edn \u2018El Chapo\u2019 Guzm\u00e1n Loera<\/strong>,\u00a0conducted by Hollywood actor Sean Penn<\/strong><\/a>. Mexican actress Kate del Castillo<\/strong> was also present at the meeting, which took place last September 28. Penn later made a detailed narration of the events for the magazine, and recalled a 7-hour conversation with the drug lord who was absolutely unapologetic and seemed very much at ease while talking to the actor. In addition, Guzm\u00e1n also dedicated a video interview<\/a> to del Castillo and Penn.\u00a0Here are 10 revelations the kinpin told the actor:<\/p>\n

  1. He\u2019s not a drinker:<\/strong> “I don’t usually drink,” he says, “but I want to drink with you.”<\/li>\n
  2. He would like to invest his money:<\/strong> \u201c[Guzm\u00e1n] would aspire to the energy sector, but that his funds, being illicit, restrict his investment opportunities<\/li>\n
  3. He gets his money laundered by corporations in Mexico and abroad:<\/strong> \u201cHe notes with delighted disdain several [companies] through which his money has been laundered, and who take their own cynical slice of the narco pie.\u201d<\/li>\n
  4. He knows he is the biggest drug lord:<\/strong> \u201cI supply more heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana than anybody else in the world. I have a fleet of submarines, airplanes, trucks and boats.\u201d<\/li>\n
  5. He jokes about Trump:<\/strong> El Chapo smiles, ironically saying, “Ah! Mi amigo!”<\/li>\n
  6. He faces very few difficulties dealing around the world:<\/strong> “Of all the countries and cultures with whom you do business, which is the most difficult?\u201d asked Penn. Smiling, he shakes his head and says an unequivocal “None.\u201d<\/li>\n
  7. He met Pablo Escobar:<\/strong> \u201cDid you know Pablo Escobar?\u201d asked Penn. \u201cYes, I met him once at his house. Big house,\u201d Guzm\u00e1n answered.<\/li>\n
  8. He\u2019s close with his mom: <\/strong>\u201cAll the time. I hoped we would meet at my ranch and you could meet my mother. She knows me better than I do. But something came up and we had to change the plan,\u201d Guzm\u00e1n told Penn.<\/li>\n
  9. He\u2019s interested in Hollywood:<\/strong> “He is interested in the movie business and how it works,” Penn said.<\/li>\n
  10. He wanted to know if people in the U.S. were interested in him: <\/strong>Guzm\u00e1n laughed when Penn told him that the even Fusion channel was airing a documentary about him, \u201cChasing El Chapo.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
